The Bay of Islands, located in the northern part of New Zealand and sixty kilometres northwest of Whangarei, is a part of the picturesque country of New Zealand. To the west lies the Purerua Peninsula, while on the east lies the Cape Brett Peninsula. And, on the southeast, at the tip of a small peninsula, there is a small town called Russell.
Some popular activities on these islands include swimming with dolphins as well as excursions to Cape Brett and “Hole in the Rock’ on Piercy Island. Boat tours are other adventurous activities.
